The Advertising and Public Relations major, established in March 2007, aims to cultivate competent talents in the fields of advertising and public relations, which are receiving attention in the 21st century. This major is divided into Advertising, where students learn and research advertising production and trends, and Public Relations (PR), where they learn about communication activities and plans of companies or organizations. The department strives to maintain passion for advertising and PR by arranging field trips for practical education, inviting competent experts from the field to learn professional knowledge together, and actively encouraging students to submit works to advertising production-related competitions.
Also, it fosters advertising and PR professionals who can demonstrate diligent, competent, and responsible leadership and cultivates the ability to perform honest and responsible tasks in the field based on an understanding of the basic qualities of an advertising and PR professional. Specifically, it produces progressive advertising and PR professionals who can contribute to the advertising and PR culture suitable for the hybrid local era, and it proposes the cultivation of competent abilities to participate in social education for the development of sustainable personal capacities, while forming a professional ethics that can contribute to the community aiming for cutting-edge communication.
