The Maritime Police Major was established in 2021 for the first time at a four-year private university in the country, and is the first and only four-year major in the Yeongdong and East Sea Coast Areas of Gangwon-State.Continuing the history of the Police Administration Major, which was established in 1992 as the second in the country, it has become the center of training future maritime police who dream of becoming a maritime police officer to protect the maritime sovereignty of Korea, which is surrounded by the sea on three sides as well as the East Sea coast area including Dokdo.
