Unfortunately, the present educational environment seems to be pushing our young people into infinite competition driven by materialism rather than true teachings. If true college education fails to be centered within this educational environment, our society will eventually lose its precious value.

Nestled in the beautiful Gangneung area of the eastern end of Gangwon-do, our university faces great mountains and a wide ocean, and it is full of pine scent reminiscent of mettle of our spirit.
