Catholic Kwandong University, through the collaborative efforts of the Ministry of Education and the National Institute for Lifelong Education, participates in the "University Lifelong Education System Support Project." This initiative aims to expand university education for the development of local communities and to provide a high-quality and different qualitative educational environment as part of social education. We are dedicated to creating and expanding opportunities for lifelong learning that can be integrated into daily life.
In 2017, the School of Human Rehabilitation Services was established, followed by the establishment of the College of Human Services in 2018. Our constant efforts are directed towards nurturing outstanding individuals who can realize their own identities, possess cooperative intelligence for living together with fellow community members, and have practical problems solving skills.
The Lifelong Education System Support Project is a collaborative initiative between the Ministry of Education and the National Institute for Lifelong Education. It supports universities in moving away from a student-centric approach during the compulsory education period towards creating a learner-friendly academic system for adults. The project aims to promote pre-employment and post-learning activation, encouraging the self-development of adult learners.
