VERUM College of General Education

Verum College of Liberal Arts holds a significant role in overseeing and managing the comprehensive functioning of the entire educational process at Catholic Kwandong University. Its responsibilities encompass various aspects, ranging from formulating the liberal arts curriculum to evaluating the performance of both students and faculty. The college wholeheartedly strives to embody and actualize the fundamental educational philosophy and objectives set forth in the founding principles of the university.

With the objective of providing college students with a well-rounded and comprehensive education, Verum College of Liberal Arts was initially established as a basic education center in 2013. Recognizing the importance of cultivating essential competencies and a balanced understanding of the liberal arts, it underwent further development and transformation, subsequently becoming a full-fledged college known as the College of Basic Education in 2014. Finally, in 2016, it underwent a reorganization process, resulting in its current iteration as the VERUM liberal arts college system. This evolution exemplifies the college's commitment to continuously enhancing its educational offerings to meet the evolving needs and aspirations of its students.
